DELICIOUS, HAND-PICKED FRUIT, FRESH FROM THE FARM.
From apples, plums and pears to cherries, gooseberries, raspberries and redcurrants, all our fruit is planted, nurtured and grown here on the farm, before being hand-picked, hand-selected and carefully packed by our expert team. This ensures that only the best quality, freshest tasting fruit leaves Chegworth Valley to go to our customers.
We supply our fruit to a wide range of food retailers and wholesalers across the UK, with next day deliveries available wherever possible. Our extensive range of produce includes some unusual and delicious apple varieties, for example Crimson Crisp and Egremont Russet, as well as the better-known Cox, Bramley and Discovery. We also grow and supply farm fresh pears, cherries, plums and soft fruits including blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and gooseberries. These, along with a wide selection of salad crops and vegetables also grown on the farm, are used to make our blended juices or sold at the many farmers’ markets we attend.
We use sustainable farming practices wherever possible on the farm, including the use of locally produced composted garden waste to help condition and fertilise the soil, and seaweed based foliar feed to encourage healthy growth and naturally strong plants. Due to the unpredictable weather and natural seasonality of fruit farming, we cannot always guarantee to have every fruit variety available at all times, but we can assure you that all the produce we offer will be of optimum quality and come straight to you, fresh from the farm.
